Longitudinal Dimensional Drawing ?

Post by EDGEFLY »

Brian,

Do we have in the Associations' mother lode of drawing data, an Aeronca drawing giving the assembled longitudinal dimensions of an 11AC ?
I am looking for more detail than is available in the Service Manual or other compilations of overall length and width.

Thanks,

Dale

Anyone else who may be aware of such data, please chime in.

Dale,

I uploaded Drawing 7-500, which is a 3-view drawing of the 11AC with dimensions, to http://www.aerialaspectphoto.com/NAA/7-500.pdf

Does this have the info you need?

Brian,

Yes, that should do beautifully. I am speculating on a sharing proposition involving an existing building for a hangar. Naturally, I measured my Chief for this purpose and decided it would be worthwhile to have such a drawing if it existed. Many Thanks.
