Anyone know of an instructor in the Houston area with a Champ? Headed there next week. If I can't find one, I plan to get some time in a Citabria with Joy at Texas Taildraggers (I highly recommend her).
Thanks,

I have no idea about the Champ in Houston, but I do have a question for you. Do you still make the Champ sliding window channels? If so shoot me a message, I would like to get a set made.
Thanks,
Ray

Re: Houston Champ?
Ray,
I'll get back to you when I return. I only have one guy who can make those. They are really a lot trickier than they look. I've had him tied up a lot lately but will get some cranked out soon.
Thanks,
Brian walker

Re: Houston Champ?
Thanks Brian,
No hurry, and since I have a rare version of the sliding window installed on my Champ I am not really sure what they look like. Mine has that fuzzy u channel from a 50's or 60's car, a piece of a screen window cut down to make a spacer and about 5 tubes of silicon sealer in the channel. Judging my the amount of corrosion that was in the bottom sill that the window fits in I would say my original channels corroded into a pile of rust.
Thanks,
Ray

Re: Houston Champ?
Hi Brian,
I am also interested in new sliding window channels for my Champ. Are they different than the ones that Wag Aero offers?
Regards, Bob
