Got Some Time in the Champ

Well, the weather is beautiful and the Champ is due for an Annual this month, so it was Off to see Merv Lewis, at Lewis Landing NK79, to drop off the Champ. Great place to drop in for a visit if you are in Orange County New York. And if you want to retire with your own airport, I am about to list it for sale (I am a Real Estate Broker)

I would post a picture, but I can't seem to get one uploaded.

We have run out of storage space with the bulletin board. We can still post photos but only if they are hosted off site and linked to a post here.

Sorry but for an all volunteer organization that is trying its best with funding, thats all we can do right now.

I expected that was the situation and two members have offered to host pictures for me. Also think the "Selling Something" was in regard to me and my thread and not your note about volunteers etc. I am an administrator on anothe forum and as you know at least reading this one all the time, so let me know if there is anything I can help with.

With regard to posting for sale, the airport will be on MLS as well as Barnstormers and other aviation sites. As a paying member here, I am allowed to post things for sale, trade etc. As this is an airport, it qualifies as flying related. I think it may also be of interest to local flyers.

My post was more about flying related interest to taildragger owners and just mentioned the airport sales and the inability to post a picture.

Lewis Landing is a nice place to visit, the shop there is excellent for tube and fabric aircraft and I thougt that this would be good information to post and that the picture would help get people interested in stopping in.

Anyone can post things for sale here, even if they are not a paid member. We would prefer that people be in the NAA but if they cannot then we understand...

My apologies if my comment offended anyone. IMHO broker, for sale, and an action verb implies a commercial transaction and that should not be condoned. I completely agree the sale of personal Aeronca related items should be encouraged and continued.

Robert keep up your posts, I always enjoy reading them.

No problem Richard, It was more a Flying Interest piece, especially as I am doing his as a favor for a friend because I have access to the real estate community. I is a fun place to visit or to get tue and fabric work done.
