propeller hub, continental tapered, 65, 75, 80, 85

Post by Classicaero »

I wanted to let folks know that we are taking deposits on the Continental taper shaft propeller hubs used for the 65, 75, 80, 85 HP engines Continental Motors PN 3745. If you need one of these, or know someone who needs one, please call to reserve yours. We are collecting deposits and customer information. These are being produced to an FAA-PMA drawing set and to approved tolerances to be released under CFR 14, part 21.

We presently have three folks who have reserved the items, and we are seeking 4 more who might need these for their airplanes or air boats. Cost will be modest, and quality is very high.

Please let other lists and your friends with vintage equipment know to contact dlosey@luscombesilvaire.info, or 480-650-0883, or 480-917-0969, before May 15 to make a reservation.

Most Sincerely, Doug Combs

It would be nice if you would post the price and availability date.

Hello Doug.
Your new hub is successfully installed on my Champ. Everyone at Princeton airport, including the IA, were impressed by its quality construction.
We also appreciate your references and important regulatory data and suggested logbook entries. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Nice to see these being made again.

I have worked with Doug in the past and he has some very nice parts on hand for the antique airplane crowd.
