How does one go about creating a 'link' in order to post pictures, etc? I understand Joe's box is full for this site. I wouldn't mind posting pictures as the Chief project is moving along as it might help someone else (or I might need some help now and then and pictures always help.

Mike, the way I've always done it is to start an account with someplace like Photobucket or another similar site and download them there first. First I downsize it and then download it to Photobucket, once it's there, then click on the particular photo you want to download here and on the right side of the pic you'll see a box labeled " Links to share this photo" click on the one line on the bottom that says IMG, (left click on the box next to the IMG). It will say copied and turn yellow.
Then go to this site and type in your posting, pick where you want the pic to be in the text with the cursor and right click there and then left click on paste. Type more text if you want and another pic later, if that's what you want.
You can preview the posting before it's actually posted to see if it looks the way you want it.

Remember if you move the photo to another file or close it at Photobucket, the photo you posted here will be lost on this site, but not at Photobucket.
I like doing it that way because it doesn't take up any space on this web site, and the photo here is larger and sometimes it's clearer to see the details.

I actually have a photobucket account so I can probably work with that once I figure things out. Are you working on your Champ??? Getting cold again so the hangar work comes to an end and I'm back in the shop at home (with heat and my radio). We actually had snow on the ground the other morning.....yuk!!!

It was 35 this morning in north Arkansas. I flew this morning to spread a friend's ashes. Not a fun flight.

Sorry to hear that. As we get older it seems to come around more often . My old flying partner passed away from the effects of Parkinson's a few years ago. There wasn't much we didn't do together in our younger days and used to fly about in either the old club Champ or my Cherokee. After he passed we had a club 'flyby' at the cemetery in his honor. I still miss him but have a lot of good memories of better days.
