Landing gear

Is there supposed to be any side play in the oleo to axle connection? Or is the 552-1 bushing supposed to prevent it. Thanks.

Ideally, no there shouldn't be any play. I've used a couple washers fore and aft of the oleo to remove the slop. At the same time, don't get things so tight they bind up.
