Champ Parts

Post by WWhunter »

Sold the Champ and have some new parts and a few old parts I need to sell. I will be headed to Oshkosh on Saturday or Sunday and can bring the parts along if anyone wants to save shipping expense. I haven't got a price on everything yet but I do know what the new parts cost and I may even have the receipts (the price in parentheses are the new list price and I will take less). I would prefer to sell all of it for one price if someone is doing a restore this stuff came mostly from Univair and is in their shipping container as shipped to me. I will check my hangar to see if there are any other parts 'laying around'

I have a new: Aeronca Service Manual
7A Aeronca Champion

New parts (most still in the package and never used):
4 ea. Cleveland (Van Sickle) Brake linings with rivets PN 066-00504 (new cost $47 ea.)
2 ea. Front Jury Strut PN12314 (new $71 ea.)
2 ea. Rear Jury Strut PN12315 (new $71 ea.)
2 ea. Bottom-Jury Strut Spreader PN 12286 (new $47 ea.)
2 ea. Cleveland Spring PN 082-00400 (new $48 ea.)

Used parts are all for wheels/brakes:
1 ea. Inner Shoulder A39021
1 ea. Felt Washer A39090
1 ea. Washer A39070
1 ea. Hub cap A38520
2 ea. Brake shoes (with B7200L stamp) one with like new lining the other lining is used
2 ea. AERONCA (stamped) Dust Cap (I bought these from Don in Gaum several years ago)

Have a set of Goodyear 26" Blimp (tundra style) tires that are like new. I put less than a 20 landings on them.
Make me a reasonable offer....:)

I wanted to move this ad up since I still have all this stuff. I had actually forgotten about it until I was cleaning up the hangar.

Anyone want all of it, except the GY tires, for $500? I paid closer to $1,000 for all of it with shipping and figure half price is reasonable. If not, make me an offer.

What kind of price are you thinking on the 26" tires? I am throwing the idea around as I land off airport when I can but my airport is asphalt. do they handle good or much diferent than 6.00 on asphalt?
