7EC Windshield alternative

I have 7-EC s.n. 770 A 1963 and I believe the last one built before American Champion resurected the 7EC.

i am being quoted ~$700 for a new windshield. Is there any alternative to this? Seems I remember something about a flat vs bubble windshield or short vs long or something. A Citabria ws is only ~$250. ??????

Jeff,
I believe the Citabria one will fit your model. It's certainly less expensive than the bubble which I have on my L16 (7BCM). Either windshield will take a lot of trimming to make it fit properly.

Like mike pointed out, the Citabria windshield will work. If that's what you took out. I buy mine from Cee Bailey, they require the least amount of trimming.
