Hello All,
I'm about to start to on the instrument panel and need to cut holes. If you have one sitting in your tool box gathering dust and you don't mind I'd like to borrow it. I know they have them at A/S for $130 dollars. I just don't know if Id have the need to use it a second time thus trying to see if someone has one I could borrow.
Let me know,
Joel

Joel,
Measure your oil pressure and temperature gauges. Some are 2" and others are 2 1/4". The duplex punch has the 3 1/8" and 2 1/4" if I remember right.

Hello All,
Thanks for responding to my message. I hadn't heard from anyone and ended up driving down to A/Spruce and buying the dual hole punch. I have to say its such and easy task with the right tool. While there I bought the instrument hole template and knocked it out in one afternoon.
Paul you where right and I almost cut my three smaller gauges with the 2 1/4" tool. They're only 2"! That could have been a real mess! I took the panel to a sheet metal shop and he did it for $30 bucks!
Jerry thank you for the offer on using your punch.
If anyone needs to do the same thing please let me know and I'll be happy to loan out this punch.

I've used the lenox bi-metal hole saws in material up to .120" and they cut beautifully. A light deburr and polish and away you go. Pretty cheap at around $20
Also an old instrument bezel comes in handy for a drill jig if you have some BER instruments around.
