Night Light

Post by rkittine »

Having recently needed to hook up a temporary light for one of my 172s while waiting for parts, I now have moved this to the Aeronca for panel illumination. The temporary installation is done with 3M Heavy Duty Hook and Latch material as supplied for installation of EzPass transponders and is extremely secure , butno tools are required to install or remove, so it is like a camera and mount.

A red, rechargable, zoomable red light (or white) plus RAM Ball mount, Arm and Bike Handle Bar adapter completes the package with a total all in cost of $67.00.

If I mount this to my wings with a green on the other side, can I fly at night?

You actually can get that flash light in green. I think there are easier ways to get position lights installed these days though.
