Here's the dilimma. FAA is putting the squeeze on an Aeronca owner friend of mine. He owns a 7DC. He installed Goodyear Disc Brakes P/N 95-2213 as it says in the old service manual.
The FAA says this is not good because it is not called for the in TCDS. Would you have any insight here? Did Goodyear change their part number designation sometime down the way?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
