Welcome MNflyer! Where are you hangared? I was grew up on a farm in Underwood so I know that area well. Still have lots of family in the Fergu area. If you are ever up near Itasca State Park stop on in. I have 1000ft of what is suppose to be grass to land on.
This lack of rain has made my new grass stipr into a dirt strip!!
Headed to Oshkosh on Wednesday!!!

GB,
What is your N number? The reason I ask is I looked at such a conversion in Ark the first of the year and wondered if it might be the same airplane.
I got my newly acquired 7AC in LA where it was flown from MN two years ago. It was rebuilt in MN after being totaled in MO. These airplanes do get around.

Hi Keith, I have my own strip about 25 miles south of Underwood, right along I-94 south end of the runway is at the freeway fence.
Hi Gus, I've been thur Ash Flat we had friends that lived in Cherokee Village a few years back so was down to vist them a few times, the number is N84606, this plane spent most of its life in Wash. & Alaska, the last 10 years in ND now its in Mn. You are so right they sure do get around. I totally rebuilt a 7AC in the early 80's and it went to La. I checked the N # and it is now in NC I think.

GB,
Yours must be a later model with that number.
I live in the boosies, about 7 highway miles SW of Ash Flat. I mowed a couple of strips in my pasture. I'm about 3-4 nm SE of Horshoe Bend (6M2) airport and maybe 6-7 nm SW of Cherokee Village. Next time you come down here give me a call.
The other 7AC I had years ago in Puerto Rico was N83267. It is now living in GA. I haven't contacted the new owner but will one of these days.
Have fun!
