For those of you who happen to be in the west central Wisconsin/Midcentral east Minnesota area (or anyone who cares to come), the Log Cabin Airport will be hosting it's annual Fly In on Sunday September 3. This is one of the better local fly in's hosted by Doug Ward, who was a belly gunner on B17's during WW2 and now restores Piper Cubs (I know

, not Aeroncas). There's always a good turnout for planes if the weather is decent. Located south of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and airport information is on airnav.com (WS69).
I'll be there, probably running the radio.
