Good news, we all develop these habits over the years. It will be interesting to see how I do once I get the Champ back into the air. Except for the ferry flight home I haven't flown anything this basic for years, many, many years and I'm sure I'll slew around in the sky until I remember to lead with rudder.
I haven't gone up and done basic airwork for years either, now I'll have a lot of fun seeing how rusty I am.
Both the Stinson and Navion were so coordinated that I didn't have to do much except on landing and TO. I'm not in the habit of really having to fly an airplane all the time. About the only thing that kept me halfway sharp was flying out of my pasture with trees and powerlines to make it exciting.
