Post by m21sniper »

Who's a fella gotta beat up to get a drink around here, and where can i park my funky front engined V-8 watercooled Porsche?!?!?!

LOL, nice site ya got here Joe, thanx much for the invite. Don't know much about these Aeronca's, but i have a fondness for some other machines that slip the earth's surly bond...

Anyway, i just got a new kit plane in the mail, and i'm having a biitch of a time puttin' it together, can anyone help???

Bill,

That puppy will look nice around the streets in Philly. Bet you will have no problem what so ever with a parking spot.

The engines on the plane I fly for a living are directly off of an A-10, but no, I am not going to loan you any. You can find them around, and only a mil or so each.

Take care and stick around!

Looks nice on the engines. No, do not like the lawn dart, I like my fighters to have two engines. F4 or F15 work just fine!

I'm with you Joe, i'm no fan of the Lawndart either. Hell, i think it's an excommunable offense in the A-10 community to publically admire that gurlie sized pointy nose jet.

Lawndart Driver:
"We took off and really stretched out the mission to the edge of our range. I tell ya, i swore we were gonna flame out and have to ditch on the way home! Then, when we found the targets we hit them with everything we had, really blasted the hell out of them."

Translation: "We flew 100 miles from our base and were directed by an OA-10A FAC-A bird at 5k AGL to attack an enemy column from 15k AGL, so we rolled in hot and at almost bingo fuel we dropped BOTH of our Mk82 Iron bombs on the enemy, and scored what looked like at least one near miss!"

Lawndarts, lol...
