Probably doesn't look like a couple of months of work, but I have both ailerons, elevators and the rudder covered. I think it takes me about 12 hours or so to cover each aileron through the finish taping. I've used blanket material for all the covering so far, although I think the rudder would have went easier with a envelope just because of the long sweep and narrow tubing on the trailing edge. I've been using the Superflite 6 process. I have a couple of issues to be settled with the airframe so that's on hold until my AI shows up. One wing has a cracked spar and several ribs need repair. On the bright side, it appears all the brackets and parts for the greenhouse are here  .

Looks like a long term project. I still need to round up some parts, but (as Jody says) we need to preserve these fine old aircraft.

Mike,

The work looks very nice and sure the rest of the plane will as well.

It always takes longer than we think. Keep pushing at it and it will get done then you can enjoy the old bird.
