Tire size -vs- weight

I understand that different Brake systems could have different weights, but what does the tire size have to do with it? When looking at A-759, Landing Gear, page 21, 201 (a), why is there NO weight penalty for a 7.00 tire -vs- a 6.00? In the next par., 201 (b), you take a 7 lb. penalty for a 7.00 tire -vs- a 6.00? Yogi once said "I don't understand everything I don't understand". ...so, enlighten me! Jim

Must be some of that good 'ol 1946 math.

Honestly I don't know why, other than it might be a clerical error? But look at it this way, if you reference 201(a) you don't have the weight penalty.
