Last Saturday we had a great visit from two gentlemen from the Sandy Springs, GA Civil Air Patrol Squadron. The Flying 45th. Brian Berry and Mike Reed. This is the squadron Lloyd's L-16B was in after leaving it's regular military service. They are updating their squadron's history and came to see their old airplane back together again. We are now swapping photos and documentation. They sent these photos. Their patch has Snoopy on it. Way cool! Pardon the ugly dude in the photo, he would not move...

P.S. Left magneto broke the points at the contact spring. First of the week we will be replacing BOTH points and retiming. 10hrs on the airplane now. David J.

Just a little tease for Mr. Thompson. Everybody dig out the Jan/Feb 1992 Vol 5, No.1 NAA Magazine. Turn to Page 11. This is Lloyd's airplane, verified by the serial number on the wing and tail. Not one like it, the exact airplane! This is where he started thinking about olive drab paint... David J.
