Hand held Radio noise interference

Success!! Foam and put the mike right at my lips on the right side away from the window, tower and planes in the pattern heard me from 10-13 miles out. Thanks for the ideas!

FYI-
The mag filters from aircraft spruce did not work with the eisemann AM-4 mags in my plane. When I called them, they said oh yeah they won't work with eisemann's even though the only caveat in the manual was that they won't work with slicks.

So they will refund me.

Then I tried the aero-lite shielded harness. Gave them the info they requested and got a nice looking set of wires with the wrong connectors for the mags....screw on when they should be bayonet type. I guess they were fitting them for the LM-4 eisemanns.

Now we are negotiating a return/replacement.
