Only the center and outer on the left wing have a spongy side to side motion, approx 1/4 inch. the inner is rigid in all directions.. the right wing is rigid everywhere but the fabric is tight around the brackets.. I will probably cut a access hole this weekend to check the bolts..thanks everybody

When you cut new holes, if you reach in the wing and glue the platic cover ring to the bare fabric on the inside of the wing, you won't have to do any sanding and they hold great. The lid goes on as normal.

What Jody said....and (pained voice of humbling experience speaks :-) ) make sure to stay far enough away from the ribs that the rib flange doesn't interfere with gluing it on the inside.

Thanks everybody, got inside the wing and I guess I was just nervous.. the looseness was just flex from the bracket..the right wing has no play because the fabric is tight around the bracket..
