Yeap, two guys came and looked at it. They didn't want to pay $25,000 more like $23,000. So it's still available.
It's nice to want to sell but not have to sell.
I know $25,000 is high but, I also know all the stuff I have done to ensure that I have a very safe everyday flyer worth the money.
I think it might sell during AirVenture but, if it doesn't I will keep flying it.
Either way I win!

You can send them my way if they have $23,000!
It should sell at Oshkosh...

So.....You wouldn't fly it to Middletown but you can fly it to Osk?
Ouch

I would have loved to fly to Middletown however, I was stuck at Army Training in Ft. Bragg, NC. Thanks for opening a sore wound! I really wish I had been there. Uncle Sam seems to find unique places for me to go every month.
Today, I'm at Redstone Aresnal outside Huntsville, Alabama.
Keep paying your taxes so Uncle Sam will keep sending me to the neat places.

You would have to see it for $13,000 to offset the $10,000 needed for travel expenses to get to you.
The biplane I really want is in Washington so I'm really hoping someone in the Washington area wants the Chief so I can fly out there and do a quick exchange.

Chris,
My wife says her sole purpose in life is to give me a hard time!
I just had to share some your way!
I don't know how long you are going to be in Huntsville, AL but just east of there is a great little strip known as, "Moontown"
This Sat is their weekend for the breakfast if I'm not mistaken. Great place to be on a pretty Saturday!!! Check it out if you can.

Chris,
You mentioned having someone interested in the Chief who was from AZ. If they have not done anything could you pls pass my info to them?
I have one gent interested who lives nearby but he is too busy to come and look at the plane, so I am about to put the Chief on Barnstormers to get some more exposure.
Thx,
Joe

I'm not home right now so I don't have the guy from Arizona's contact information.
Post it on Barnstormers it will sell very quickly, my Champ sold in one week and if I wasn't so stubborn on the price my Chief would have sold all ready using Barnstormers.

joe, I think someone at the airport is buying my 7ECA and is going to put a 150 hp on it. IF this happens and you have not sold the Chief, please call me at 443 909 0176. How would I get it to Buffalo? You Game? Thanks, Jim Pacquin (NEVER should have sold the CHAMP! Miss It!)

Jim,
I might be able to meet you a bit more than halfway!
If I make the deal on the Sedan I am looking at, its located near Middletown Ohio, so we could meet there and you could fly the Chief rest of the way home. Would need some help on fuel and a firm agreement but it sure could be done!
