No it has not sold. Have two looking but that is it. In the meantime it is flying. Son and I get them out and do alittle neighborhood surveying in formation although it is too cold for swimming pool surveys. This is not a distressed sale. I have two and only need one and could use the hangar space.

Bird is right--asset reduction taking place--atleast it is staying in the area. Anyone need a high performance short field Cessna 182? That just leaves the 85 Champ and prewar Chief to piddle with. As you know I collect and maintain these gems rather than put money in the stock market and rely on my ex-employers broken promises. :( Atleast I can fly and enjoy my losses if there are any. Cheers :) :)

How about that--Ron is having two flyins in a two week period.

I doubt we'll see much of Ron at the Southern Style Aeronca Fly-in. He's pretty much letting us run it our way.

Grumps,

The two Champs are of distinctly different yellows. Is the 85 in the background a J3 yellow? If not, what are the two yellows?

A blue and orange-red C-3 replica. Its built to the orig. plans about 5 years ago. Its got (I think) a 65 hp engine. I've flown it. Its fun. jp
