Wow! That is so cool! My ring is in questionable shape, I had no idea that these could be spun like spinners. Now that I see the photos it makes sense.

I would be happy to help with the nose bowl ring. Would you need one cutout and trimmed or just the spun part so you would have extra material to work with on your nose bowl?

I suppose just spun although I'm not sure. I've contacted a gentleman in Warrensburg, Missouri who is a sheetmetal artist and I don't know what he might need. Evidently you're a metal magician too. Would love to have a newly fabricated ring to help the nosebowl rebuild. The airplane (an 11BC) currently has a Champ nosebowl and it's sort of a rolling restoration. This airplane came from the factory with all the bells and whistles including custom paint. The original owner is still alive.
