Here's one site that sells pre-laminated cushions in different sizes:

Here's another one:

I've looked around and prices are pretty uniform regardless of the supplier. You can get cushions in 36 or 48 inch widths. In your case I'd say you could top (or bottom) a 3 inch laminate with some regular foam. Bear in mind you're not going to sink in as much so will be perched higher even with just a 3 inch cushion.
For making your own laminate I believe I read that you use the 3M 77 spray on adhesive that is available just about anywhere.

I put the cheaper 3 color foam in mine and the 3 hour ride to Nates seems alot shorter. I have not had the chance to do a five hour leg yet but with ANR headsets, my ipod, and two gator aid jars I think I could do it!

Mark,
Hmmm, what are the Gatorade jars for? LOL
My Champ can hold 39 gallons of fuel and even with the higher fuel burn of the O-235 that is a lot of time in the air. Actually I spent 6.5 hours flying in one day just a couple of weeks ago.
Seriously though.....see if you can find someone that works at a hospital and get one of the "bedside" bottles. They work much better as they are designed for that particular task.
I have had to spend many a days in the hospital and have a crate full of them. I always kept them and have them in my plane, deer stand, and any other place I think I may need one.

I just wish that the gatoraid bottles had bigger openings...

Hey, just take a mason jar with you. Surely that opening would be large enough...

I have thought about putting a "T" in the vac line going to the veturi and attaching it to a funnel like we had in the H-3.

I'm not saying this is a true story, it's just one of those "hangar tales" that get told. Anyway, there was this guy who had a Supercub with some long range tanks and so he decided one day to install a funnel with a tygon tube going out the bottom of the fuselage.
Well, the story goes, that first time he tried to use it it pulled a 3 inch arc off his weenie and he darn near crashed.

Another option is a zip lock bag and unfold a diaper inside. The diaper absorbs the liquid and you simply zip up both the bag and your pants. No spills, no smell. And when you get to the destination and just dump in ziplock bag in the trash.

Or just wear the diaper and change yourself upon arrival. It must really suck to get old and have to pee every 15 minutes.
Sorry as the youngster of the group I had to say something. I can hold the pee but when the bubble guts flare up the only option is to stop and pull a sock for toilet paper. Please tell me you old guys don't have a solution for that problem also.

The straps in my champ seat were sagging so I made a new seat bottom out of a flat sheet of aluminum, and two wedges and a peice across the front to hold the front of the seat up about two inches, then used the three lawer tempur foam. Been very happy with the setup.
