Paul; Sounds like a good time but................... Perhaps I should stick around and put in some more time first. But soon hopfully. Thanks for the invite. I will make you guys over there in Livermore one of my first stops. You guys are somewhat responsible for my new found addiction to flight. Your L 16 was the first Aeronca that I flew in, and was directly responsible for this afflection.

Have a graet trip

Del,
There is always the Cactus fly-in in March. When you have enough confidence in it give me a shout and I,ll meet you in LVK.
Are there any other Aeroncas that want to go to Endurance days? We don't have too many Aeronca shows on the West Coast and we should support this one. Shoot, they are even talking about sponsoring fuel! I don't know how much better they could make this one.

Greetings:
Well the update on this end is I have Solo'd the Champ. Yesterday afternoon the instructor got out and said ok now you go do it yourself. What a tremendous thrill. Of coarse you all know that thrill. This evening I went down and flew my first solo with hardly a soul around and was very very sobering. I had more fun than ever expected, and believe me I thought it would be fantastic. Thank You all for all the help on restoring this airplane.
