I will find out today. I am going up with a friend of mine that is an instructor. I figured a few hours of dual in a new plane can't hurt. Thanks, John

Well everything went great yesterday with the instructor. we have determined that my airspeed indicator is off about 8-10 mph. when it reads 60 we are actually doing 70. but it landed great on asphalt with the 13 lbs in the tires, and these things slip to landing awesome! I think I am an aeronca owner for life now. I love it. Thanks for the advice.

John,
Keep poking around the board and if you can make it to Middletown. Lots of good info and people to meet here!

Then stop by Thursday or Friday. Its well worth making as its held only every couple of years. Largest collection of Aeronca's anywhere in the world at one time.
