Re: Video
Hi Jim,
Temperature has been up and down here. 33 this morning and 75 this weekend...go figure. I'd like to be home working on the Chief but the propane bill for the shop would kill me anyway so I might as well vegetate here. I had a email from our pastor and he said it was 17 below yesterday morning at home. My daughter in law ( who has lived in Texas all her life) wonders why people "live up there". I have to explain it's nice for at least 6-7 months out of the year. Besides it green not brown and I can loaf at the airport.
Any progress on your Champ??
Mike

Re: Video
Hmmm! I get your point
. I think my brother said they had something like 55 inches so far. Maybe my daughter in law has the right idea. Of course, we don't have consistent days of 100 degrees up north either.
Good luck!!
Mike
Good luck!!

Re: Video
Mike,
You northern boys don't see the whole picture when you talk about 100° days. Down south, when it gets hot, you just remove cloths and/or go skinny dipping. On second thought, at my age, that is not a pretty picture

Re: Video
You can always put more clothes on though, but there is only so much you can take off. 100 degrees is not so bad its the 99 percent humidity that gets me.
I wish I had snow I could shovel in front of my hanger. All ice at the moment.
Can we upload pictures again? For a long time it said that the site memory for photos was full?

Re: Video
Robert, the way I learned to do it is to go to the photo on Photobucket and click on the one photo you want to upload. When that comes up, look to the right of the photo and within the box is a small line to the right of "IMG", click on that, and it will turn yellow and say "copied".
Type your text the way you want to see it here on this forum and right click and hit "paste" the photo where you want it to be in your message. You can preview it and see what it looks like before you post it here.
One thing to know is anytime you move the photo to another album or remove it on Photobucket, it will be lost here and not show up anymore.
Oh, I forgot to add, I reduce the size before I load it to Photobucket, otherwise it's too big like the last one I loaded, which I must have forgotten to do.

And Bob,
You can always go back to the post you just made and edit the link to correct the image. It makes it more readable and saves multiple posts trying to accomplish the same task.

Re: Video
Good ideas. Now I have to get PhotoBuck, which I have never used.

Re: Video
It can be Photobucket, Snapfish, Picasa, Vimeo, or your own personal site. The take-away is to find a place that has the space to host your photo and then provide the PATH (directions in computer language) to where you have the photo located. If you have a Windows 7 and a Windows 8 computer Microsoft has their own repository to encourage you to share photos.

Re: Video
And then not just the link, but it will populate the thread? I have a ShutterBug site. Assume that would work.
Thanks - Bob

Re: Video
Shutterbug will work as well. It will not populate the forum (site) which is why you are using the hosting service.
The photo will remain with Shutterbug or wherever you uploaded it and the URL PATH you paste on this this site or any other is simply the directions the computer needs to know to locate the picture.. The actual image is downloaded to your computer where it consumes cache memory space while you are viewing it. The overhead for the picture is borne by your computer and not the forum.
From your previous post to this thread

I can see you are trying to post a picture named SNOW FIELD CRP 20RS.jpg which is located in a folder named AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY which is also in a folder named COOPER'S TOWN 207CCM CHAMP and it too is in a folder named PHOTOS FLYING which is in a folder named DIGITAL PHOTOS. All of this is on your local computer on your "L" drive and access is not shared with the world (you don't want to share it with the world by the way or someone will know more about you than you do).
