Great Valley N.Y. N56 has a very nice 3000' grass runway. A resturant across the highway. Today, for the lunch hour, the following arrived...2 Super cubs on tundra tires. One super cub,1994, on 800's A new ..NEW..supercub , blue and white, on blue and white amphib floats, also brand new. A Husky, a 2000 model 180 hp. A rebuilt taylorcraft side by side of Oshkosh award caliber......and...an aztec, piper twin, decked out for spraying which will remain for two days while working...also in immaculate condition. (the interior of the taylorcraft was a site to see...perfect...no flaws, engine compartment, same, sporting a newly rebuilt 85 cont. with milliniums.) A joy to behold. (The fellow flying the piper on floats is over 80 years old with both hips replaced, sharp as a tack. His grandson arrived in another supercub, graduated from air force acad. and just finished F-15 training! It was some lunch gathering!
