Correct stringers for the 11AC

Having just started the restoration on my recently acquired 11AC project, one of the first things I noticed was the old stringers. They are all simple, straight stringers. I remember on a Champ that I restored many years ago the difficulty we had making the correct "T" shaped stringers. The Chief project does not have any "T" stringers. While this is much easier to reproduce, I don't think this is correct. Which stringers on the Chief were "T", and which were simple straight stringers. Thanks for any help...Matt

The bottom 2 outside stringers are "T" stringers. Also, the top outside corners. The ones that start at the outside cabin edges. I will have to look at the manual to tell you what notches they go in. I may have a picture. Do you have a manual? It shows in the chief manual. If not, NAA has exact replica's for $19.00. Where your formers attache to the metal tabs, I used 1/4 in. soft copper tubing cut in 3/8"s lengths. Just insert it in the hole and use a hammer and bucking bar to smash. Same as waterbury eyelets.
