
Probably doesn't look like a couple of months of work, but I have both ailerons, elevators and the rudder covered. I think it takes me about 12 hours or so to cover each aileron through the finish taping. I've used blanket material for all the covering so far, although I think the rudder would have went easier with a envelope just because of the long sweep and narrow tubing on the trailing edge. I've been using the Superflite 6 process. I have a couple of issues to be settled with the airframe so that's on hold until my AI shows up. One wing has a cracked spar and several ribs need repair. On the bright side, it appears all the brackets and parts for the greenhouse are here
Looks like a long term project. I still need to round up some parts, but (as Jody says) we need to preserve these fine old aircraft.
