Max did you ever find anyone that had paper work to use the 0-200 with the filler bushings for the old mount?max7ccm wrote:LOOKING FOR APROVAL TO INSTALL 2 INSERTS IN EACH O-200 ENGINE MOUNT AND USE THE 65 HP ENGINE MOUNTS AND 7/16''

Inserts for 0200 Case
I spoke with the owner of donsdreammachines at 1-770-412-8885 and he can supply the inserts. He told me to call Dave Lasher to use his STC if I needed one to use the 0200 case as part of the C85 STC which could use these inserts.

Engine mt adapters
Hi Joea, you get away from sagging lord mounts and go to sagging conical mounts
.
I think the big advantage is you can use the original conical type engine mount with the lord mount C-90's and 0-200s and the conicals are less money than the lord mounts.

The adapters allow the O200 crankcase to be used on airframes that originally had the A and C series engines installed with the conical mounts.
If you use the Lord mounts it moves the engine about 5/8" forward. Which is not a bad thing, you just cant get the cowling to fit.

I just had an O200 installation approved on my 11CCX Chief (Canada Owner-Maintenance) ... I used the conical inserts.
As Paul indicates, the only reason I used them was to avoid cowling / fit issues. The O200 ended up in exactly the same place as the original C85-8F.
Used Wagner's STC as the basis for approval (satisfied Transport Canada's 'acceptable data' criteria). Very simple modification... just swap out the engine.
