National Aeronca Association Bulletin Board

Hello everyone! My name is Alex. I recently aquired a 59 Aeronca Champ 7GC. She has a little problem with her fuel shut off valve leaking. Does anyone know were I may get a replacement, valve kit, new rebuilt, ect??

If it is the imperial, tapered valve, they are pretty easy to rebuild. Take it apart, put some mild polishing compound on it and put it together. Then turn it a lot to lap the taper to the cone. Take apart, clean, coat with fuel lube and reassemble.
