Wing ribs

Post by Jerry »

Does anyone on the list know anything about an STC to replace the wood wing ribs with alum. A friend says that there is one. But don't know who has it. Oh it is for an O58B. Thanks Jerry

Jerry,
The Aeronca T and TA series have the aluminum pin riveted ribs. The aileron ribs are different on these models so be careful before you plunk down your boot. If your aileron is cable operated use the T ribs, pushrod operated use the TA.
