National Aeronca Association Bulletin Board

I need a picture of Your Aeronca Chief Seat Cushions. I have seats, but they are not original. Talking with Bill Pancake, I understand that the original seats had a flap on the back cushion that snapped to the front of the cloth baggage compartment. I have someone that can make these but he needs dimensions and pictures. I have 2 vinyl covered slabs that came withn the project but they are not done the way the factory did it. I have the seat out of my 41 and can send pictures if you still need them. The seat back does have a flap with some snap fasteners to attach it to the canvas "sack" I would guess that was to keep junk from falling between the seat and getting into the cables just below it. jbeckman@charter.net
