static RPM

Hi guys, what should the min/max full power static rpm be for my Champ.
I am running a C-85 with a McCauley 1B90-CM7146. However the prop has been repitched to a 43.
I realize that there are many variables here, ie density alt, engine condition, mixture, etc. what i am after is a min or max guideline.
My Cessna 140 that i had was running an STC with the 0-200 in it, and it had a min/max rpm published with the paperwork. I however do not have this with the Champ.
As it stands right now with the temperatures around the 70-80 degree mark I am getting around 2250 to 2300 rpm, How does that sound?
I was told that a good rule of thumb if everything is working OK is to use your max rpm(static) as a guidline for a cruise power setting.The cont manual has a 2250 rpm setting at about 67% power, seems about right.
Your thoughts!!!!!!
