I purchased a NOS cam for a C-85 from Robert Weber for $565 including shipping. 559-275-3403

I have a fresh reground cam for an 85 if someone needs it. This cam is a PLUS .020 on the journals.

What happened to your old one? Bearings getting smaller or the lobes on the cam being worn off?

Joe,
This cam was used when the cases started to wear. With no cam insert bearing used, as the cases wear, the option was to install a camshaft with a larger journal and line ream the case for fit.
I sent out a bucket full of cams to Rick Romans for grinding and certification and this was one of them. With the new processes being used on the crankcases the plus .020 cams are not in as high a demand. As the deck heights are reduced I think the +.020 cams will be back in vogue.
