Chief seating arrangements

To All,

I have a 1947 Chief and am curious about the other airplanes out there.

What seating arrangement do other Chief owners have in their airplanes?

I have seen two versions. One with a bench seat like the 50's and 60's cars using a single cushion for the back and another single cushion for the seat bottom.

The other arrangement uses two separate cushions for each person in the airplane, consisting of four cushions.

Chief owners out there, what are you using in your plane?

Thx,

Joe

bench back and bottom. on a side note. I'm thinking of making a single passenger seat for the chief. Why?? This year I want to go on an extended trip to the canadian north country (3-4 weeks) It would be nice to have the room for "piling" stuff in  Has enyone heard of such a thing? I'll send pics if I go that route...

Boy Jody,

That looks very nice! When are you going to post some more photos of the plane?

It was my pleasure to help with the wings, I thought it was very interesting to see the process.

Im looking forward to the flyin as usual, thankfully its not on the same weekend of my college graduation, Id hate to have to miss the ceremony.

As for the Citabria, Ive only been flying once or twice since November, its been bad weather every weekend, or I just havnt been home.
