Oil Burn in a healthy A-65

What is an average or "good" oil burn for a healthy A-65 between 25 hour oil changes?

I don't know if I'm healthy or not but I seem to burn around a quart every 8 hours or so. About 200 hours on what appears to be a hone, rering and valve grind overhaul. Not the way I'd do it but the price was right and seems to be working out so far.

I was getting about 10 hours on a quart of oil on my C-85.

8 to 10 hours is bout right--as you don't fly 10 hours straight, That is about 8 to 10 starts and shut downs.

25 hours between oil changes on an A-65...............

10 is better - after all it's only 4 quarts.

10 hours or 4 months - then the engine may get to 500 hours before it needs TLC !
