Reflections at 400hours

As I creep closer to 400 total flying hours since getting my Sport Pilot license two years ago, I have been looking back at all the fun I have had over the past two years.
My first airplane
Went a couple times where I should not have been.
Seen lots of beautiful countryside.
Flew to Oshkosh and met Sean Tucker
Met EAA member #1...........I'm truly blessed!!

Chris,
We were all at this point sometime in our flying career and survived. Keep building the time and pls try to be careful on flying in weather that is not so good.
I remember that one time early in my career I was flying from St. Louis to Springfield. WX was descent when I started but started going down and down. I followed the highway and realized how low I was when I had to pull up to clear a bridge. Started doing my IFR rating the next month as this left a lasting impression on me.
Keep building the time and get another Aeronca when you get out of this "acro biplane" phase!

Chris,
Congrats! I am roughly at the same TT as you. But I have been flying for over 20 years. Most of my time was the first couple of years and the last couple of years. My wife is in the Army and right after I bought my plane, we were shipped overseas. Spent over half her career in other countries. Sorta hard to build time when the plane is on one side of the earth and I'm on the other side. A couple years ago I bought another plane (Super Champ)
and have put 100 hours on it. Over half that time is on floats. Now THAT is fun!!!!

Joe - I still have my Chief and the "acro biplane" phase is beginning to ease. One long trip to AirVenture and one fairly long trip to Arkansas and I think I'm flying the plane for me. Of course the fact that all the tire kickers wanted to steal the plane might have something to do with my current stance.
Keith- Spousal units are way under appreciated. Without mine running the house when I'm gone I would go nuts.
