Engine Baffles Wanted

Post by 7GC »

Need a set of engine baffles for an O-320 conversion. Baffles from a 7GCA, 7GCB, 7GCAA, 7GCB will work. Anyone know of a source? Also looking for an engine breather tube.

Do you have the factory blueprints for the baffles? They are not that difficult to make if you have the blueprints.

Don't have the prints, but do have access to a set for template if necessary. I was hoping, in the interest of time/efficiency to quickly buy a set, as the engine will be ready to install shortly. Should have done this search before, but our thought was that O-290 baffles could be readily adapted to O-320.

One thought would be to call Van's Aircraft. They sell a lot of baffle kits for 0-320's and I expect it would be very easy to adapt one to fit the contours of your upper cowl...
