Defender rigging question.

Post by N3840E »

I have a friend that is not a member of this board(in fact he don't compute at all) that is rebuilding a set of Defender wings. He has done a very nice job and is installing leading edges this weekend. Do any of you Defender guys know if there is washout in the Defender? He cannot find anything in regard to the same in any of the publications he has on hand. I recommended he put his washout in (if any) prior to nailing his L.E.'s. Thanks. Kevin

Kevin,
I built my TAC wings flat and they fly just fine. I don't believe there is any wash built in. For rigging, the rear strut has an adjustment at the top of the strut.
Someone on the list might have the drawings or Todd's site may have them.
