Weather Program

I found this excellent (free) weather site. Not exactly aviation but it has a lot of good features that can be useful. Such as the ability to ' "pan in" on a particular area forecasts, winds, etc. I'm still investigating things but it's worth a look. Not official, of course...but useful.
Check out: intellicast.com

BTW: I don't know about the rest of you but I find DUATS cumbersome to work with. Usually I just wind up calling Flight Service if I have a real question or want to file a flight plan, although I haven't done it lately. Since I sold my Cherokee most of my flights are 50 miles or less.

Mike,

Have you tried the weather portion of Flight Plan.com? www.fltplan.com

I fill out everything like I am filing a flight plan (and never file it) then use it as reference for the flight. Has all the freq's, track and WX if you ask for it and can all be done from scratch in a couple of minutes.

Best of all its free...

Thanks Joe,
I'll check it out. There's lots of stuff out there if you know where to find it.
Sorry to say I don't get as much flying in as I'd like to, but I still like to keep on top of the weather situation whenever possible.
