Airpark House 4 Sale

Post by flyingfool »

There is a house with hangar for sale a few housed down from me. THe retired owner is moving to Arizona I believe and is putting up for sale his house. This is a 1,634 SF 3 BR house with a 35'x40' hangar. He used to own a Bonanza he kept there but sold his plane several years ago.

This house is located on the Waunakee, WI Airpark which is about 5 Miles NW of Madison, WI. We have a 2,200x30' paved Rwy 9/27 and a grass landing area along the south side of the Rwy.

Nicely kept up house from what I can tell. asking $275,000. I do have some pictures the airpark community sent me via e-mail.

I have no interest in selling the house other than I want to have a pilot buy the home versus someone else.

In addition there is another house for sale but no hangar although there is space to do this. It may be a forclosure home and I know nothing else about it.

if you are interested or know someone who is, let me know and I will try to get pictures and other info including the home owners contact to them.

Thanks,

TomD.

P.S. I sure would like to have another Aeronca on the field! We have C-140's, C-170 and a Taylorcraft and 2 Citabria's but my Chief is tcurrently he only honest to goodness Aeronca!

Been to your fly-ins before but can't afford a house. Waunakee is a nice place. A friend of mine lived there and had a comanche.

There are still 3 Comanche's located on the field.

What was/is the name of the person you knew?
