ski plane forum?

Post by Robert »

How about adding a new forum title - ski plane or aeronca ski plane. There seems to be quite a bit of interest in ski flying but it seems to be scattered around. It looks like we've lost "treetop flyers.org" which used to have good ski forum.

Treetopflyers has been reinvigerated!! They had some spammer issues early this year and eventually shut down the site. It is now http://www.skiplane.org. Thankfully all the old postings are on it so it was basically just a domain change.

This is something that we fight every day. I get from 1-3 spammers trying to register every day and all it takes is one to get registered so that they can post then spam the forum.

I tried http://www.skiplanes.org, and wouldn't load. Are you certain of the website address?

I love ski flying, but I sold my plane to a guy on the west coast ( I loaned him a bunch of stuff for the flight west and he's never returned them, first time I've been bit!) so I have a set of SC-2 skis with new plastic bottoms for sale. I also have the ski dollies I built for them, perfect for taxiing to the runway when the tarmac is bare. Pictures available 705-762-3767.
