Champ Project for sale

Post by CptKelly »

Guys,
I have a good friend who, recently, had a bad auto accident, and wants to sell his 7AC Champ project. This is a really good project. Engine has 4 overhauled clinders and brand new Sensenich prop. Project is complete and needs only a jury strut (crack found in original), and rear window fairing.
Fuselage has good cover and was wet sanded through silver. Wings need covering and are ready to cover.. spars are like new. This is is a GOOD project, no junk. My friend wants $15,000 and is firm. Plane is located at Merritt Island, FL. If interested, call Matt Ligos, 321-917-2003. Matt can tell you far more than I can. Matt used to construct Smith Kit Supercubs. I think he has built 6 of them, but he had to cease the physical work due to a back disc problem. He does beautiful work, and this is Matt's personal plane.

Joe,
I don't have any photos, and even if I did, I don't know how to post them.
I saw this aircraft about three years ago. It was flying then, and Matt had planned to go all the way through it, but his recent auto accident has put a stop to that. Like I said, this is a really complete GOOD project. This plane really only needs the wings to be recovered. Matt can get photos for anyone interested. He can be reached at 321-917-2003. Anyone wanting a really nice project, don't wait on this one... it will be gone fast.

Guys,
This Champ project is sold. Believe it or not, my #1 son bought it. He has little tailwheel experience, and bought it for his training. I had no idea he would want it, but he did.
