I asked my good friend Tom Auerbach, who has had several photos selected as Photo of the week on the AVWEB website, to take a couple pictures of me goofing around in the Tri-Champ. I wanted a nice high def photo that I could turn into a poster for my room in Iraq. Wow, I didn't realize just how good he was at taking pictures. These below are only a couple of the several hundread he took today. Now I just have to decide which one I like the most.

Nice photos! Edited it a bit to make it easier to look at.

Now if he could just airbrush out the nosewheel! :)

When do you head out?

Stay in touch with us and remember you and the rest of the troops are in our thoughts and prayers.

What nosewheel, I prefer to call it a training wheel.

Can a guy catch a break? It's not like I'm on here posting photos of a 150. This baby is a classic.

BTW, I still miss flying the tailwheels except when the wind is above 10 knots and not 100% down the runway and on days that don't end with a "y".

Very NIce Pics!!!....Don't be surprised if some of your pics end up in a magazine. Talented photogragher and a nice subject to photo. How do you keep the belly so clean? Oh, my bad,...you got a training wheel up front makes for easy access to the bottom....

You be careful over there Chris..one of my troopers just returned from a 12 month tour...Our military is second to none and you are a part of that group that we are so thankful to have. Before you know it you will be right back in that seat on top of your training wheels. God Bless

I with you on that...classic. I got my PPL in one years ago and have a very warm spot in my heart for the Tri Champ. I envy you getting access to one. Be careful on your assignment over there. Looking forward to your return. Thanks for serving. Roger Anderson, Ssgt once a long time ago, USAF
