Paul A is a wealth of information and if he has found some Lyc pistons maybe he knows where a head gasket is located.

I doubt if any of it is serviceable, but I have an old mostly rusted O-145 in my mom's basement. What are you looking for? El Reno Aviation in El Reno, Ok had parts some years ago. Don't know about now.

I posted on another thread. There is a AN 900 that should work. I did a lot of leg work for a customer on this issue. He had a Tcraft BL. We didn't get a chance to use the AN900's because he found some NOS he didn't remember he had. Rodney deserves a gold plated E for effort. Keeping a little Lycoming operational isn't for the faint of heart.

I found the parts I was looking for and they are being shipped at this time. Thank you all for the help. Found the parts through El Reno who passed me off to "Henry".

I have the gaskets necessary to replace the head on my 0-145. I understand the head should be torqued to 300 inch lbs. This can be done quite easily on most of the nuts however it gets a little difficult on the nuts that are between the cylinders. I would also like to re-torque all of the cylinder head nuts to ensure I donot lose another head gasket (some of the nuts on the other cylinders appeared quite loose) It seems that the only way I can reach some of these nuts is by "building" a special wrench (cutting a box-end off at about 2 inches and welding it back together with a 90 degree bend) There must be a better answer for this job.
