I’m coming home early based on several different reasons primarily my back went out again. It’s been operated on twice and just couldn’t take one more deployment. In the old days that would have been a trip to the clinic, some Motrin and back to work. But with the order from the President to have all combat troops out of Iraq by 30 August, anyone with anything is instantly removed from country. So here I sit in Kuwait waiting on the sea of paperwork to get me from here to Seattle only to go back to Oklahoma. Uncle Sam is good with helping me build my frequent flyer miles.
If the Doctors and my wife concur I plan to attend Middlefield this year. Crossing my fingers.
