Anyone have an idea what this fits? I bought it online and it was supposed to be a 7AC mount. Engine side: Upper Width-6 5/16", Lower Width-10 3/16", Height-11 1/4"(does not appear to fit a Continental). Fuselage side: Upper Width-20 1/8", Lower Width-14 3/4", Height-18 7/8". It's not a J-3 or an L-3. Any ideas guys. Paul, you listening? Thanks everyone, David J.

Joe, it is definitely not a 7AC or 11AC. David J.

David,
That looks prewar to me. What are the bolt hole sizes. I'll try to get out and measure some of the fuselages out back.

It is a PreWar Chief Continental engine mount. If you don't need it I would be glad to buy it. I have a 1939 S-65-C Chief (S) means seaplane certified that I am planning on converting to a C-85 and could use the mount. The "S" certified Prewar Chiefs have been field approved for the C85. I am just down the road.

Doug, I am at Middletown now. Are you sure the motor side dimensions are good? It did not look like it would fit my C-85 I had in the shop. There is one small place I need to send you a photo of. I only have $130.00 in it, and that is a all I want. I was going to send it back to the guy I bought it from, but would be most happy for someone to use it. Send me an email: n8926(at symbol)earthlink.net. I don't know how to attach photos to a PM. Take Care! David J.
