Thanks to all that could attend. All in all, a good convention. Lot's of work, lot's of fun and many new faces.
Everyone should give Chris Hiatt a big "Attaboy" for all he did. He went above and beyond and was a big help. His tri Champ is a dream to fly and makes even an average pilot look like a pro on landing.
It doesn't compare to Joes Sedan though. Sorry Chris. Both great airplanes in their own right.

Re: after the convention
I was glad to finally meet him. Neither of us slowed down enough to visit, but we all enjoyed him flying all weekend! Duane Jones too! Have Chris and Joe made it home safe yet? David J.
Re: after the convention
Hey NAAers I made it back to Oklahoma after a brief visit to Indiana. Ended up putting 29 hours on the tach in 5 days, not bad for an aeronca. I had a great time I only wish I could have hung out more but the cockpit kept calling. Great fly in!
Re: after the convention
What Chris does not mention is that a good part of those 29 hours he flew were with tours of the Middletown area with guests and employees of the Aeronca factory! He really was a big help and am guessing that he had a good time there!
Good fly-in and glad to see everyone. My end was about 42 hours and 3400 miles (not including flying around thunderstorms!) but had an excellent time!

PS, Ask Chris how his flight with Bill Pancake went!
